How about trying some crazy South Indian food without burning a hole in your pocket? . . Newley opened, a month ago! We all foodie friends check in here and feel a rise in our love for Southern India! The ambience is calm so do their owners! Jayanti and Santosh ji are prompt, courteous and loveable people !. . . Can you imagine life without a bowl of steaming sambar? This quintessential accompaniment to idlis, vadas, and dosas has essentially been a favourite among South Indians and gradually traveled across India to become one of the nations' best loved delicacies. Whatever the past may be, the present holds a strong and undisputed love for sambar in every Indian's heart. As the name predicts #Sambarcafe, it offers finger licking sambar with their unique delicious dishes to satiate our cravings. . . Not quite indoors, not quite outdoors, open-air eateries are an idyllic place to enjoy the gorgeous weather. #Sambarcafe is totally the place to visit. The food is hygienic here and the open sitting ambiance is soothing and comfy. An amazing place with such a serene ambience. Greenary all around. The ambience has always kept me wooed by this place. . . Love their disposible platting with banana leaves. Food when served on banana leaves gets enriched with several nutrients. . . The menu puts forward the classic flavours and comfort food from Kerala. ▪️Masala dosa/Rava dosa/Mysore Dosa: Their meals drip of authentic flavors and the Mysore Dosa here is loved by one and all. ▪️Idli Sambhar with the divine Chutneys ▪️Sambhar Vada: Crispy, fluffy and delicious vada enjoyed very well with coconut chutney and sambar ▪️Rasam Vada's are mentions that steal the show and deserve a pick without any doubt. ▪️The epic filter cold coffee soothes the throat and best complements the food.

It's definitely one of the best pocket-friendly South Indian restaurants in bopal area of Ahmedabad. You've got to take your friends and family to this amazing restaurant for an unforgettable exquisite meal and refreshing coffee drinks.

We all enjoyed the opulent blend of South indian diversity at Sambar Cafe!

We paid for it! 820/- for 4 people.

Address: Bus Stop, Plot No 609 Near Dev Vatika Bunglows Dental College, Manipur Rd, Ghuma, Ahmedabad.

Thank-you Pooja Sangani Pooja's Way

A Mango Lover’s Paradise – Sambar Café Nails It Again!

I recently attended the Mango Madness event at the Sambar Café – Manipur-Ghuma branch, and I have to say, this was one of the most unique and memorable dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. If you love mangoes and South Indian cuisine, this is a match made in heaven!

The event featured over 15 mango-infused dishes, all authentically South Indian but creatively reimagined with mango as the hero ingredient. From the very first bite, it was clear the chefs had poured passion and innovation into the menu.

Highlights for me included: 🥭 Mango Rasam – Tangy, spicy, and the perfect start to the meal. 🥭 Mango Pongal – A surprising twist on a classic, with just the right touch of sweetness. 🥭 Mango Avial & Mango Kurma – Balanced, rich, and deeply flavorful. 🥭 Mango Appam & Mango Chutney – Soft, fluffy, and paired beautifully with the chutneys. 🥭 Mango Jigarthanda – An absolute showstopper of a dessert. Creamy, refreshing, and decadent.

The best part? It was unlimited servings, so we got to revisit our favorites (more than once!). The service was warm, attentive, and efficient despite the crowd. The ambiance at the Manipur-Ghuma branch added to the festive tropical vibe with subtle mango-themed décor and upbeat music that set the mood.

At ₹899 + GST, it felt like excellent value for a full-fledged, curated mango feast. It’s advance booking only, and for good reason — the place was packed!

Whether you’re a hardcore mango lover or just looking for a unique dining experience, Sambar Café’s Mango Madness is a must-try. Can’t wait to see what they come up...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Foodie's Paradise: Authentic South Indian Flavors That Will Make Your Taste Buds Sing at Sambar Cafe! 🎶🥘

Listen up, fellow food enthusiasts! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sambar Cafe, a little gem of a restaurant, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of a gastronomic symphony! 🤩

As a self-proclaimed connoisseur of South Indian cuisine, I've tasted my fair share of dosas and idlis. However, Sambar Cafe takes the cake (or should I say, the vada 😉) for serving the most authentic and mouth-watering dishes I've ever had the pleasure of devouring.

From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with the warm aroma of spices, a delightful prelude to the feast that lay ahead. The menu boasted an array of traditional South Indian favorites, each dish more tantalizing than the last. 🌶️🍛

As I dug into my dosa, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, I couldn't help but marvel at the perfect harmony of flavors. The accompanying chutneys and sambar provided a symphony of tangy, spicy, and savory notes that danced on my taste buds like a perfectly choreographed ballet. 💃🍴

And the pièce de résistance? The steaming hot idlis, so soft and pillowy that they practically melted in my mouth. I don't know what kind of sorcery the chef at Sambar Cafe possesses, but I've never tasted anything quite like it. 🧙‍♂️🍽️

So, my fellow food lovers, if you're in search of a true South Indian culinary experience, look no further than Sambar Cafe. This restaurant will transport your senses to the vibrant streets of Ahmedabad, all without leaving your seat. A must-try for any fan of...

Whenever you crave authentic south indian food sambar cafe should be on the top of the list. Atmosphere : We visited here in scorching heat but mist sprays and the natural windy atmosphere made it memorable. Service : I could have given less stars only bcz of poor service , only self service option is there. They do not deliver on the table so if you order 3 different items you have to go and collect each time when your token number is announced. So imagine you are eating and you have to stand up every time to collect your order. Food : we ordered Thatte idli , ghee pongal and idiyappam with stew , neer more and panagam. 1 : Thatte idli tasted amazing with full ghee and podi masal sprinkled on the top. 2 : Ghee pongal again was very tasty with too much of black pepper in it but i guess that is what brings the fragrance in the taste. 3 : Idiyappam with stew was ordered for our little one who initially was impressed with the look and presentation of the dish but later he gave bcz of the authentic coconut milk flavour and some tangy taste. 4 : neer more is a south indian version of buttermilk which had a slight different in taste, had a flavour of curry patta too. 5 : Panagam is again lemon water with a different name which had jaggery instead of sugar and flavour of ginger in it.
